Keyboard West Studios group guitar classes are fun, fast paced and informative. We offer classes for all ages and levels.

With the Light Speed Guitar method, students can learn in months what used to take years. This unique and cutting edge method provides instruction on improvisation, music styles and fretboard theory. Students will gain confidence and inspiration as they acquire the tools to be top-notch guitar players.

The Light Speed Guitar method is based on a visual process. Students can study a variety of styles including classical guitar, blues-rock, heavy metal, jazz, and country music. Students can learn and improve the following:

• Scales, chords, arpeggios
  
• Guitar technique
  
• Solfege and note reading
  
• Music theory
  
• Understanding of the fretboard
  
• Composition skills

Light Speed Guitar is an innovative curriculum consisting of four levels. Students are grouped by age and ability to create an ideal atmosphere for group learning.

Introductory Classes "Beginning Guitar"
Become a Real Guitar Hero!

Keyboard West offers three-week introductory acoustic and electric guitar classes for students grades 1-8.  Students learn notes and chords, music theory, and are introduced to the fret board.

Beginning Electric Guitar: See how easy it is to play like a rock star! This class features songs from the hit video game Guitar Hero®.

Beginning Acoustic Guitar:  Get off to the right start! This class inspires students as they experience musical success and have fun making music.
